The simple answer is no – not when they're applied, maintained and removed correctly. All Great Lengths salons are required to be GL trained to make sure application is done correctly. Keeping up with your maintenance appointments is the key to keeping both your extensions and your natural hair healthy.
Tape and Linea Weft extensions usually need maintaining every 6 - 8 weeks, while Pre-Bonded extensions can last around 3 - 5 months before they're removed. As always though it depends on how well you look after them.

Time will be taken to colour match, blend and customise every set of extensions so they work with your own hair, not against it. Whether you're adding length, thickness or both, we want people to notice how amazing your hair looks - not that you're wearing extensions.
Absolutely! You can curl them, wave them, straighten them or wear them up just like your own hair. We just recommend using our heat protector, avoiding direct heat on the attachment points, and following the aftercare advice you will be given. With the right products and a little extra care, your extensions will stay looking beautiful right up until your maintenance appointment.
