The new bronde. Named after the stone, Tiger Eye Balayage is a mix of beautiful caramel and deep brown highlights. This look compliments warm brunette tones rich in gold, amber and honey shades. Tiger Eye Balayage works on all hair lengths. It looks awesome on a short bob.
“Metallic tones are also in popular demand,” says colourist Allison Rappel. “These tones include a ‘metal’ like finish and can vary in tone.”
Piggy-backing off Tiger Eye Balayage, Tyler Colton, a stylist who works with Roselyn Sanchez and Constance Wu, says that “colour melting” will continue to thrive this year. “Colour melting is the new trend that allows colourists to use multiple tones of colour to create seamless colour from root to ends, whether you are a brunette or a blonde,” he says.
“For blondes, during the spring season I recommend a rose gold shade,” says Sam Ruvinov, senior colorist at Julien Farel.
